Something special for writers...

This blog post is for writers who want to earn an income from their writing.

I shared this post on my Facebook to help writers.

I once had more than 400 people reach out to me via Facebook looking for writing jobs. I was so overwhelmed, and I did not respond to all of them.

Nigeria had an unemployment rate of over 33.3 percent in the year 2018. It is probably over that by now.

I tried to answer everyone. That is the day I gave the HR team of every company their flowers. That is such a hard job.

Anyways, I was so tired.

I did not want to disappoint anyone but I could not help everyone.

So this is what I wrote below:

When I stopped working, some people I called friends spread rumours that I was doing "Yahoo."

Yahoo means cybercrime.

I was hurt. I was disappointed.

I was more hurt by those I called friends than those I did not know. I moved on.

So I am finally opening up about what I did.

I delved into freelancing as God led me.

I had the skill set needed:

  • I had an inquisitive mind
  • I was skilled in marketing so I applied my experience to my freelance writing for business owners
  • I applied lead-generation skills that I learned in my previous job

My freelancing was a niche I had worked in for a decade and so I chose right.

I chose the media industry and I loved writing from my childhood.

I tried to open this to others.

I am still trying because I know this is a solution that many people need.

I believe in you, and that your access to my resources can help you.

So visit my blog often.

I post job opportunities there. Send me a comment if you read the content, practice it, and get a job.

It will encourage me to continue.

Read more on our freelancing blog.

Daily or weekly jobs are available for you to send in your pitch. I hope you get the job.

You are a woman of virtue...

Yes. You are a woman of virtue.

Nowadays when I think about the women in the bible, I do not think about them like someone who is distant and unreachable.

She is you and I.

When You Work For The FBI - The Source

So I put the heading to see if the US will pick up my post as one of their rookie FBI agents who have not gotten the memo that they should be flying under the grid.

I will monitor to see if it makes my hits vary.

Who is an FBI agent?

An FBI agent is one who works with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. They investigate crimes that fall beyond the means of local law enforcement.

Yemi Alade Talks Women Supporting Women

From girl-next-door to multiple award-winning African artiste! Afropop singer and songwriter, Yemi Alade has achieved milestones many may have presumed impossible. There is no doubt that she has become one of

Nigeria’s biggest exports.

On episode 9 of Binging with GameChangers, Yemi Alade chats with show host, Seyi Banigbe, about her career trajectory and road to success.

Yemi Alade recently made the 2018 Forbes Under 30 honoree list and was also unveiled as part of the "2018 most influential people in Africa”. Her numerous awards include an MTV African Music Award, BET Award, MOBO Award and many more. Her music video for hit single, “Johnny” remains the most-watched video by a female African artiste on YouTube (over 100 million views).

So how did she go from being a regular girl taking Geography courses in University to becoming a successful Afropop sensation? You will need to watch the show to find out!

The corporate gamechanger on this episode is Kenneth Erikume, a partner with the Tax unit of  PricewaterhouseCoopers Nigeria. He is an expert in tax, mergers & acquisitions, as well as regulatory and transfer pricing issues.

Kenneth got his first job as a volunteer computer teacher in his local church in Warri. He was also a well sought after teacher and after-school teacher at the time.

All of the work experience gained as a teacher however improved his chances when he got the opportunity to interview with PwC Nigeria. Even though Kenneth graduated from the University of Benin with a 2:2, he had
