The Excuse
You’re late for work because you overslept, but your boss hates over-sleepers. He does love entertaining stories, though, so create the most outlandish excuse as to why you were late.
Hey friend,
So I had to break up with my excuses in order to become successful. You know it is sometimes easy to give yourself reasons to not do what you know you should or can do.
Definitions from Google of what an excuse means
verb
/ɪkˈskjuːz,ɛkˈskjuːz/
- 1.seek to lessen the blame attaching to (a fault or offence); try to justify."he did nothing to hide or excuse Jacob's cruelty"
- 2.release (someone) from a duty or requirement."it will not be possible to excuse you from attendance"
noun
/ɪkˈskjuːs,ɛkˈskjuːs/
- 1.a reason or explanation given to justify a fault or offence."there can be no excuse for any further delay"
- 2.INFORMALa poor or inadequate example of."that pathetic excuse for a man!"
I learned to take responsibility.
I learned to feel the pain for not doing what I should and then go after what I should be doing with a vengeance.
Don't give reasons why you cannot do your responsibility, make things happen.
Get the work done...
Don't accept less. Do not do less. Do not be afraid to put in the work. Be responsible and responsive. Get the best.
So why was I late?
One simple answer. Procrastination. Pray for me.
Have a great weekend guys.
